0815 GOLF TOURNAMENT
Play a round with your buddies at Shadowmoss Plantation Golf Club (www.shadowmossgolf.com), which Golf Digest describes as “the best golf value in Charleston.” Rental clubs available if you are flying and want to avoid the hassle and expense of schlepping or shipping your sticks. Snack bar open 0700-1700, lounge opens 1000, and on-course beverage service starts at 0900.
1330 Return to Embassy Suites

Visit Charleston, one of the most beautiful and historic cities in the south. On your tour you will see the College of Charleston, Harleston Village (one of the early suburbs of the city), the Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, and of course our famous Battery with its elegant town houses built by planters and merchants in the 18th and 19th centuries. Spend some time shopping and browsing in the Old City Market and have lunch on your own at one of our fine restaurants.

1900 Cruise Charleston’s beautiful harbor by moon light aboard the 100′ luxury yacht, Spirit of Carolina. Enjoy the unique and beautiful sights of our harbor at night as well as a delicious dinner in a romantic atmosphere. Entree choice may be made at the table. Alcoholic beverages and optional dessert menus are on your own. Includes round trip transfers to Patriots Point. 0900 PATRIOTS POINT WITH LUNCH IN YORKTOWN CPO MESS
Tour Patriots Point, the world’s largest naval and maritime museum. Visit the Aircraft Carrier YORKTOWN, the famous fighting lady of World War II; the destroyer LAFFEY, a participant in the World War II D-Day landings at Normandy; and the submarine, CLAMAGORE, one of the Navy’s last diesel powered submarines. You can also visit the VIETNAM NAVAL SUPPORT BASE with its Sea Cobra and Huey helicopters. While at Patriots Point enjoy a traditional hot lunch in the CPO Mess aboard the Yorktown.

0845 MAGNOLIA GARDENS PLANTATION TOUR
Tour Magnolia Gardens, one of the most beautiful romantic gardens in the world. As you stroll the garden paths through a Cypress Swamp which was turned into a garden by the Rev. John Drayton prior to the War Between the States the beauty of these unique gardens will take your breath away. After touring the gardens board the Nature Train which will take you into part of the Audubon Swamp Garden, home to scores of water loving creatures and traversed by boardwalks, dikes, and bridges to put the visitor in close contact with its inhabitants. You may even see an alligator and will have the opportunity to view the abundant bird population of the low country.
