Help for John Moth 1968
This is a request for assistance on behalf of John Moth, former corporal and crew chief with HMM-265 Feb-Nov 1968. John was awarded 11 Air Medals under the strike-flight award system for his service with the Squadron Feb-Mar 1968 and the Squadron forwarded award recommendations for an additional 13 awards of the Air Medal Mar-Nov 1968. Those 13 Air Medals were never received by John and HQMC has no record of those awards being approved by CG 1st MAW. John is attempting to locate After Action Reports for those missions he flew Mar-Nov but would also solicit assistance from Squadron members who may remember his flight history during that time. If you knew John or can offer any assistance to him in his search he will be grateful. My role is to advise and assist John in any way that I can.
