HMM-265 Veterans Association Plaque at National Museum of USMC
During the 2015 reunion cruise the membership voted to raise and contribute $5,000 to the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, the fund raising organization for the National Museum of the Marine Corps. The amount was raised almost immediately in contributions and pledges. Our gift has been memorialized on the “Friends of the Museum” plaque located in the Leatherneck Gallery. HMM-265 and our Association will be remembered as long as there is a National Museum of the Marine Corps. There is no more appropriate place to preserve a reminder of our legacy.
