Greetings! At long last we have the information on the Marine Corps Birthday Reunion Cruise scheduled for Nov. 8 through 15, 2015. I know it seems like a long way off, but it is never too early to start planning. I know we are all getting older and have a few more infirmities that we use to but I hope all of you are planning on joining us on the ship.

Tim Bastyr has written up a description of the cruise and given you all the contact information. I sat down yesterday and called our agent, Kim Riemer. I was able to make my reservation with her and have put down the deposit which will hold my cabin. Today I talked with her about trip insurance and made arrangements for that. If for some reason I decide to cancel out, as long as I do it before August 2015 I get my money back, except for the insurance fee. I will not do that but that is an option you will have. Final payment is not due until Aug. 15, 2015.
If you call her before Sept. 28th she will be out of town on a trip, but she will have someone monitoring her calls and they will help you. She will be back after that.

I highly recommend if you are thinking about going that you go ahead and call and put down your deposit. Until Oct. 31, 2014 the deposit is $175 per person. After that the deposit goes up to $350 I think and stateroom prices might go up also. Some of the benefits Tim has negotiated expire if not signed up by then also.

I am looking forward to this trip/Reunion, and to seeing all of you there. I hope you will join us.
