Officers and directors serve without remuneration and donations are used only in furtherance of the Association’s mission as stated in Article 1 one of its by-laws. The HMM/VMM-265 Veterans Association is tax-exempt under Section 501(C)(19) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law and regulation.
