Retired Gunnery Sergeant Neal Purdue has volunteered and been elected by the Board of Directors to fill the Director at Large vacancy created in 2017 when Andy deHaan became Reunion Coordinator Emeritus and thus an ex-officio director. Neal served the glorious Corps for 20 years, 1984 to 2004, in MOS 6060/6048 (Flight Equipment). He served in HMM-265 from July ’87 to October ’91 and deployed to Desert Shield/Storm with the squadron. It’s great to see one of you FNGs stepping up to a leadership role. The old farts are getting tired and starting to die off.
